Frequently Asked Questions for Hair Weaving & Extensions

Q: What is a micro-weave?
A: A micro weave is a technique that allows a weave to look and feel more natural than any other weaves. The hair is braided down very small, stretch netting is added to flatten the already small braids. Then, the hair is added using a custom zig-zag weft or handtied weft, which also contributes to a flatter more natural weave.

Q: What are strand by strand extensions & micro-links?
A: Extensions are 10-20 strands of hair that is attached to the natural hair by using kertin tipped extensions and sealing the extensions to the natural hair with a hot extension connector.
Miro-links are 10-20 strands of hair that are connected by using small round links that are attached with a linking tool, then, secured with pinchers.

Q: If I have a bald spot and want to wear a weave, which one will work better for me?
A: I would recommend a net weave or a micro-weave, because either will cover the bald spot. The micro weave is highly recommended to insure that the braids are extremely small not tight. This really makes a difference in wearing a weave, especially when the hair is natural or long in areas where there is hair.
