Melanie Boney is a Master Cosmetologist who has held a license in Cosmetology for 19 years and has specialized in Hair Weaving/Replacement for more than 12 years working from more than 15 different hair weaving/hair replacement techniques. She is also a Master/Instructor of Hair Care and Hair Transformation.

Born and raised in Chattanooga, TN, Melanie relocated to Georgia in 1994, five years after she beginning her career as a licensed Cosmetologist, where she shifted gears and began the second phase of her career: hair transformation. Since she understands that people ‘feel’ their best when they ‘look’ their best, she decided to work with people who experienced hair loss as a result of medical issues in addition to those who just wanted to glamorize their look. Melanie’s passion for excellence and drive to give people an image that looks natural to them has won her clients from all over the country who travel to Georgia to use her service. She also offers group and/or private training sessions for individuals interested in learning such an advanced form of hair care and hair restoration.

Melanie has trained at Dudley Cosmetology University Kerenersville, NC; New Concepts Pompano Beach, FL; Clem Lueyat Master Hair Weavers of Brooklyn, NY; Young Hair Inc., Springfield, OH; Custom Wigs & Lace Front Creations, & many others. She is committed to continuing education holding more than 25 post graduate certifications in hair weaving, extensions and wig making to stay abreast of up-to-date information in her field. Melanie is currently launching her new designer wig lines: A.C.H Silver Collection, A.C.H Platinum Collection and A.C.H Diamond Collection. These lines will include light weight custom lace front wigs which will include one, two or three more color, integration, hand-tied wefts, pony tails, custom and stocked wigs, and closures made with the highest quality of Indian, European, Brazilian and Malaysian hair available. Plus hot colors, styles and great textures. In September of 2006 one of Melanie’s Diamond Collection wigs was worn by Patti Labelle on Celebrity Duets. Melanie volunteers for the Nation Cancer Society & Wellstar Hospice. She enjoys family gatherings, shopping, aqua fitness workouts, movies, decorating, church and helping others. Her favorite print is leopard. Her favorite foods are lobster and shrimp. Melanie's love for hair and hair transformation has pushed her to excel in many areas of hair weaving/replacement.
